Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Support –  Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support customers post-implementation.

This role sits at the intersection of water compliance expertise, technical troubleshooting, and customer success. You will own customer support needs after go-live, work closely with Implementation, Product, and Development teams, and help translate real-world regulatory and operational challenges into meaningful platform improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone transitioning from water compliance into SaaS, or for a technically minded professional who wants to make an impact in a mission-driven software organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own customer support for assigned projects post-implementation
  • Depending on expertise, project work may span across SAMS compliance products including Water/Wastewater, IPP/FOG, cross-connection/backflow and more
  • Investigate and manage technical issues, bugs, configuration updates, and enhancement requests
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Implementation, Product, and Development teams to resolve issues and deliver improvements
  • Support legacy customers, helping bring them up to date with current platform functionality and best practices
  • Translate customer feedback and operational pain points into clear product and process recommendations
  • Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, videos, and documentation to support onboarding and ongoing customer education
  • Participate in troubleshooting complex workflows related to compliance, reporting, and system configuration
  • Maintain customer response times within 24–48 hours, ensuring a high-quality support experience
  • Act as a trusted technical and regulatory advisor for customers using SAMS

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in municipal water, wastewater, or IPP/FOG programs, including regulatory compliance
  • And/or 3+ years in technical support
  • Experience supporting customers in a software or technical environment, preferably SaaS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Subject matter expertise in Water/Wastewater, Cross-Connection/Backflow and/or IPP/FOG programs
  • Comfortable creating training videos, SOPs, and detailed written instructions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance & Invoicing Operations
    • Support creation, delivery, and tracking of customer invoices.
    • Monitor payments and assist with light collections follow-up.

Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAMS compliance software solutions for public utilities and private infrastructure operators. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, engaging with client stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with regulatory and operational goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during all phases of software implementation projects. 
  • Lead project planning, task management and scheduling, and resource allocation in coordination with other project managers and the Implementation Director. 
  • Schedule and manage software familiarity sessions, software data migration, software configuration, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities. 
  • Closely coordinate internal teams including developers, data engineers, implementation applications engineers.

We are looking for a Water Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME) to bring deep industry expertise into our software platform’s development, implementation, and client success processes. In this role, you will bridge the gap between real-world regulatory and operational needs and the technology we build to serve them. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Implementation Team, Customer Success, and Sales teams to ensure our platform reflects the best practices and nuances of water and wastewater quality compliance. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the internal expert on water and wastewater quality regulations, treatment processes, and reporting requirements (e.g., NPDES, SDWA, EPA, and state-level programs). 
  • Lead and collaborate with the Product and Implementation teams to translate regulatory and operational needs into platform features and improvements. 
  • Work closely with the Project Management Team to implement SAMS water and wastewater compliance and operational solutions.

The Support & Implementation Specialist will provide general support to SAMS users through email and on occasion through phone calls.
