Role Overview

We are seeking an Implementation Engineer to execute the technical components of SAMS software implementations for public utilities and private water compliance entities. Reporting to the Implementations Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for backend configuration, data migration, integrations, and technical setup required to successfully deploy the platform. The Implementation Engineer works closely with Implementation Project Managers and other cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy, data integrity, and system readiness throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform backend system configuration to support client-specific workflows, regulatory requirements, and operational use cases.
• Execute data migration activities including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading into the SAMS platform.
• Support and configure system integrations such as APIs, file-based data exchanges, and third-party platform connections.
• Prepare and manage technical environments, including sandbox and production setups, and support environment migrations.
• Participate in technical readiness activities for user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data, configuration, and integration issues during implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
• Collaborate closely with Implementation Project Managers to align technical execution with project timelines and milestones.
• Document technical configurations, migration steps, and implementation artifacts to support repeatability and knowledge sharing.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the Implementations Engineering Manager with clear analysis and recommended solutions.
• Coordinate with Product, Development, and Support teams to resolve defects and technical dependencies.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in technical implementation, implementation engineering, or systems engineering roles within a SaaS environment.
• Strong experience with backend configuration, data migration, and system integrations.
• Ability to analyze datasets, validate data quality, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Comfort working across multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting software implementations for government, utility, or regulated-industry customers.
• Familiarity with relational databases and advanced SQL.
• Experience with GIS, SCADA, CMMS, LIMS, or similar enterprise system integrations.
• Exposure to EPA compliance reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of or exposure to environmental compliance regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting version upgrades, system releases, or environment migrations.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAMS compliance software solutions for public utilities and private infrastructure operators. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, engaging with client stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with regulatory and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during all phases of software implementation projects.
• Lead project planning, task management and scheduling, and resource allocation in coordination with other project managers and the Director of Client Services.
• Schedule and manage software familiarity sessions, software data migration, software configuration, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.
• Closely coordinate internal teams including Implementation Consultants, Developers, Implementation engineers, and Integration Engineers.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and deliver timely progress reports to clients and internal leadership.
• Facilitate change management, client training, and user adoption strategies.
• Ensure proper documentation, version control, and configuration management of the implementation lifecycle.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide client feedback and influence roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management in SaaS implementations
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams such as Implementation Consultants, Developers, Implementation engineers, and Integration Engineers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and systematic process management.
• Proficiency with Claude AI, Jira, Confluence, etc. or other project management tools.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience managing complex government software integrations.
• Experience with utilities or environmental compliance preferred.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification.

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant to execute the customer-facing components of SAMS software implementations for public utilities and private infrastructure operators. Reporting to the Implementation Project Manager, this role serves as the primary functional and subject matter expert during the implementation lifecycle, ensuring the platform is configured, adopted, and utilized in alignment with customer regulatory, reporting, and operational needs. This is a highly customer-facing role requiring strong communication skills, domain expertise in water compliance, and the ability to translate customer requirements into effective system configuration and usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing implementation activities including software familiarity sessions, functional workshops, and solution walkthroughs.
• Elicit and document customer requirements related to regulatory reporting, dashboards, workflows, and operational use cases.
• Configure front-end system components including dashboards, reports, workflows, alerts, and user permissions in alignment with customer needs.
• Partner with Implementation Engineers to validate migrated data and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and regulatory alignment.
• Execute end-to-end system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with customer stakeholders.
• Deliver customer training sessions to ensure successful adoption and effective day-to-day platform usage.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by applying water compliance subject matter expertise throughout the implementation process.
• Provide go-live and post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition into production use.
• Collaborate closely with Implementation Project Managers to align functional execution with project timelines and milestones.
• Document functional configurations, customer requirements, and implementation outcomes.
• Provide customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams to support continuous platform improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in implementation consulting, functional consulting, or customer-facing software implementation roles.
• Strong experience working directly with customers in a professional services or SaaS implementation environment.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in water, wastewater, or environmental compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead workshops, training sessions, and customer meetings.
• Ability to translate regulatory and operational requirements into system configuration and functional solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer engagements concurrently.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG)
• Experience using tools such as Claude AI, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Experience working with public utilities, municipalities, or regulated infrastructure operators.
• Familiarity with EPA compliance reporting platforms and state-level regulatory systems.
• Experience configuring dashboards, reports, and workflow-driven SaaS platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a technically strong, customer-facing Sales Engineer to lead the technical components of the pre-sales process. This role will partner closely with Sales to understand prospect requirements, deliver customer-specific demonstrations, and translate business and technical needs into accurate scopes, levels of effort, assumptions, and pricing inputs. The Sales Engineer will also own the quality and readiness of the SAMS demo environment, including configurations, workflows, and sample data, and will coordinate demo-related development and troubleshooting across teams. Success requires hands-on technical ability, structured problem solving, strong presentation skills, and disciplined follow-through. 

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales representatives to plan the technical strategy for qualified opportunities and identify the customer workflows, stakeholders, data sources, integrations, and technical risks that will shape the solution. 
• Prepare and deliver compelling, customer context-specific demonstrations of core SAMS workflows across modules for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Tailor demonstration talk tracks, configurations, workflows, and sample data to the prospect’s requirements and desired outcomes rather than relying on a generic product script. 
• Lead technical discovery and convert customer requirements into clear written scopes, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, integration and data-migration needs, implementation risks, level-of-effort estimates, and pricing inputs.
• Distinguish standard product configuration from custom development and communicate product capabilities, limitations, alternatives, and risks accurately throughout the sales process.
• Own the readiness, accuracy, stability, and ongoing maintenance of the SAMS demo environments, configurations, workflows, and sample datasets.
• Develop reusable demo scenarios and coordinate all technical preparation required for upcoming demonstrations, including testing and resolving configuration, data, and integration issues before customer meetings. 
• Create clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and priorities for demo-related work completed by the India development team or other technical resources; test completed work and drive defects or blockers to resolution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, Product, Development, and Support to answer technical questions, validate proposed solutions, relay customer feedback, and ensure a clean post-sale handoff. 
• Create and maintain scoping templates, demo scripts, technical documentation, sample datasets, and other reusable pre-sales assets that improve quality, speed, and consistency. 
• Stay current on SAMS product capabilities, customer use cases, competitor offerings, and relevant utility and environmental compliance technology.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, software implementation, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing software role; SaaS experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on understanding of software configuration, relational data, SQL, APIs, integrations, file-based data exchanges, and cloud applications.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical functionality and customer value to diverse audiences.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and process discipline, including the ability to manage multiple opportunities, demonstrations, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Two-year technical certification, associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
